Lila and I have never stayed in a hotel in Vancouver.
There are many, but rooms fill up fast in summer time. Don't delay!
First, we recommend staying with us on Bowen Island. Info on that HERE
But, if you don't stay with us, then we recommend that you stay a) near us in the West End or b) downtown where you can easily catch the bus to Horseshoe Bay.
Near Us:
1) Best Western Plus Sands
2) Coast Hotel
Downtown:
1) Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
2) Rosewood Hotel
Those are nice, but they're a little pricy...
Here are a couple of (more affordable) ideas.
1) Horsehoe Bay Motel
2) Barclay Hotel
3) Travelodge Vancouver Lionsgate
